Vernon E. Wilson Papers
Dr. Vernon E. Wilson (1915-1992) was a nationally known leader in medical education and an innovative administrator of medical programs in academia and government. Although the collection covers the years 1953 through 1981, the bulk of the records were created in the 1970s.
Ward Darley Papers
Ward Darley was Professor of Medicine, 1946-1956, and Dean, 1945-1948, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Many items in the collection relate to the Association of American Medical Colleges (1958-67), the American Medical Association (1964-66), the American Academy of General Practice (1960-67), EDUCOM (1964-68), and the White House Conference on Health (1965-66).

William Bennett Bean Papers
Dr. William Bean was a well-known medical historian and teacher associated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the Cincinnati General Hospital, 1936-1948, University of Iowa College of Medicine (1948-1970), and the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston (1974-1980). The papers relate to Dr. Bean's work and interests as author, teacher, editor, and medical historian.
William Shainline Middleton Papers
Dr. Middleton was Dean of the University of Wisconsin Medical School, 1935-55; Chief Consultant in medicine to the European Theater of Operations, 1942-45; Special Advisor to the Surgeon General of the Army during the Korean conflict; and, Chief Medical Officer of the Veterans Administration, 1955-63.
